Day 58 - Kazakhstan

Outside the Imeni Dakunayeva Mosque in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Day 58: We are currently back at the Central Mosque in Almaty. We drove 1100 km all the way from Kyzylorda yesterday and reached Almaty in the early hours of the morning, slightly before Fajr.
After a quick nap, we headed to the air cargo customs and stopped along the way at a nearby cafe for Mama to attend her weekly meeting. I took the opportunity to continue sleeping to get more rest.
Once Mama's work was done, we went to Customs to retrieve our package. After going to two buildings and asking around, a kind gentleman offered to show Mama the way and accompany her to retrieve the package.
Alhamdulillah, without his guidance, it would have been difficult to find all the right offices to get the stamp for clearance. Finally, we got our package.
This package contains essential items that will allow us to use the toilet and shower more conveniently, as well as replacement parts for the van.
We will rest tonight in Almaty and head to the border town tomorrow. Insha'Allah, we will rest there for the night and cross over to Uzbekistan early Thursday morning.
Alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah. Once again, help comes when we need it most. Big thanks to Dauran from Baikonur for arranging with this outstanding young man, Nursultan from Kyzylorda to assist with calling the shipping office on Monday morning. Through him, we got the shipping we realized that we had to go there in person. And to the friend Didar from Almaty that we met in Balkhash Mosque who helped us to call the shipping company and get the address for the shipping company.
Collectively, they helped point us in the right direction.
May Allah bless them and grant all their wishes and aspirations, giving them the best of this world and the hereafter. May Allah continue to give us ease and protection.
Aameen Allahumma Ameen.
Labbaik-Allahuma-Labbaik.
